Temporary Instructors (Substitutes) Wanted: Are you responsible, available and eager to work in an instructional environment? Do you need a

substitute teaching may be just the job for you!.

To qualify for a Temporary Instructor (Substitute) position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be 19 or older, have earned a minimum of 30 college credits and hold passing scores on all four (4) sections of the General
    Knowledge Test (GKT) a Florida Teacher Certification Examination; or
  • You must be 19 or older and have completed at least 60 college credits;
  • All applicants must complete a two-day Temporary Instructor (Substitute) Training offered by Miami Dade College*

Guidance Counselors and School Social Workers Wanted: The Division of Student Services is seeking Guidance Counselors and/or School
Social Workers who will serve as Student Success Coaches at selected elementary, middle, and K-8 Centers for the 2015-2016 school year.

Student Success Coaches will support students by actively engaging in the elimination of social and emotional barriers inhibiting student success.
Services will be provided to selected students who meet criteria based on Early Warning Indicators. Student Success Coaches must be certified in
Guidance and Counseling and/or Social Work. Duties will include individual and family counseling, providing workshops for parents, and coordinating
referrals to community agencies.

Only eligible candidates who meet the aforementioned criteria will be afforded the opportunity to interview. Only candidates who successfully complete

Highly Qualified Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Teachers Wanted: The Office of Instructional Recruitment and Staffing is maintaining a
database of highly qualified ESE teachers. This database will be used to keep eligible applicants up to date on current and anticipated vacancies

School Psychologists Wanted: The Division of Exceptional Student Education is seeking qualified professionals for the position of School Psychologist.

Applicants must have experience working with children and have either a current certificate in School Psychology from the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) or be licensed as a psychologist through the Florida Department of Health.

Immediate openings for part-time audiologists to provide services to students in school settings. Must be state licensed. Hours are flexible. Job duties
include, but are not limited to performing audiological evaluations, selecting and fitting Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs), taking ear mold impressions,
